Casali products impress not only with their taste, but also thanks to our partnership with Fairtrade.

Fairtrade

At Casali, we combine high-quality indulgence with responsible action. That is why the quantities of cocoa required for our Casali Chocolate Bananas and our Casali Rum-Coconut range are fully sourced on Fairtrade terms.
Across the entire Casali range, we use FAIRTRADE-certified cocoa roasted in our own facilities. For Casali Chocolate Bananas, this commitment also extends to sugar and banana pulp (FAIRTRADE “All that can be”). Certified raw materials may be sourced using mass balance, meaning they may be mixed with or replaced by non-certified raw materials. What matters is that the quantity purchased on Fairtrade terms corresponds exactly to the quantity required for the respective product. In this way, Casali combines the sourcing of certified raw materials with the unmistakable taste that defines our products.
With the FAIRTRADE Mark, we ensure that selected raw materials are sourced in accordance with Fairtrade terms.

Wolkersdorf Production Site

At the Casali production site in Wolkersdorf, all externally sourced electricity comes exclusively from 100% renewable energy. In 2021, a solar power system covering 6,000 square metres was commissioned on the roof of the production facility. With a capacity of 500 kilowatt-peak (kWp), the photovoltaic system generates around 500,000 kilowatt-hours of renewable electricity per year.
